Integrated portal for collating and sharing the research work and publications of the Institutes of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC) under NIRANTAR, has been developed by Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (ICFRE) on the behest of Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India.

The portal is a centralized repository of various Research Projects carried out, Research papers published by the Scientists, Other publications, Patents obtained, Technologies developed by the Institutes under MoEF&CC. In addition to these the portal also contains the details of various International Treaties made in the field of Environment and climate change. Further the portal also provides a single platform for all stakeholders to get the specific details about the research work carried out in the field of forestry, environment and climate sector across the country.

The portal has advanced searches on various parameters of completed, ongoing and proposed projects, Research papers and publications, Technologies, Patents etc. through which specific information about these can be fetched out.

The portal will not only help the central authorities in the management of research in forestry sector and avoiding the duplication of research work but will also provide necessary information to the government in formulation of policies in the area of environment and forestry sector for the benefit of masses.

In addition to this, the portal will also provide information about the new initiatives carried out by government under NIRANTAR.
